Leading Drummer Phil Dickinson

Phil joined the band as Leading Drummer, at the end of the 2009 season. Recently he played with City of York Pipe Band, prior to which he did some teaching wth us. However prior to that, Phil was responsible for creating probably one of the best mid sections England has seen in recent years with the Grade 2 All England Champions; Pontefract & District Pipe Band.

Peter joined the band ready for the 2010 season, after a couple of years off pipe band drumming. Prior to that, Peter was the Lead Drummer at the East Ridings Caledonia Pipe Band in based in the North Yorkshire town of Bridlington.

Lincoln born, Cameron moved to Beverley in 2008. Following 22 years in the army, and annual holidays in Scotland, Cameron couldn’t believe his luck when he found his love for Pipe Bands was realised on his door step. He snapped up the opportunity to join the band in the autumn of 2011 to learn to play the Bass Drum. Ironically in 2015 took his door step north of the border, but continues to travel to some practices and most performances and competitions.
